D.O. Piquillo Peppers from Spain are hand-processed and roasted over wood fires, then preserved without oil or water to retain their intensely sweet and pungent flavor. The Piquillo pepper, meaning “little beak” for its distinctive pointed shape, has for generations been picked and produced almost entirely by hand, using no chemicals in the washing, roasting and peeling process.
